British Iris Society Membership Subscriptions
| Membership runs
as the calendar year, and payment may be made in £ sterling, or US $. New
members pay a subscription of £14 (US $25) (plus £1 each for additional family
members at the same address and juniors under 18 sponsored by a fully paid
up member of the Society). Members
who join between January and July 31 will receive the current Year Book as
well as the edition published in December. New members joining the Society
from August 1 onwards do not receive the current Year Book, however, their
subscription covers the following year, and of course will receive the Year
Book in December. Students who can provide evidence that they are on a
recognized full-time horticultural course are eligible for full membership
(for the duration of their course) at the reduced rate of £7. A saving of £2
on renewal subscriptions is offered to fully paid members who pay before the
end of February - the cost is £12. From March 1 the full rate of
£14 applies. If paid in United States Dollars, one year membership is $25, 3 years $70 (no extra charge for family members). |
